Arizona is home to around 20 cockroach species. Most of them live outdoors and stay out of your way, but several have adapted well to urban life and can become a real problem inside homes and businesses.

Because cockroaches are nocturnal and good at staying hidden, infestations often go undetected until they're already well established. By the time you see one out in the open during the day, chances are there are a lot more you're not seeing.

Knowing which species you're dealing with matters. Different cockroaches have different behaviors, hiding spots and treatments that work against them. That's why we always start with a proper inspection before anything else.
